Dean is  a physical therapy intern at Atlanta Rehabilitation and Therapy Performance Center. He gets a front row seat in a PT clinics day-to-day operations. 

Dean has a career goal of working in physical therapy and is a part of the Honors Work-Based Learning program.

Landin Ray

Landin is a senior at CHS. He is an Automotive pathway completer, has taken courses in the Construction pathway, and plays varsity baseball. He currently works at Pirkle Gutter Supply where he works mainly in the warehouse overseeing production operations of various company products like downpipes. His mentor said he has a great work ethic and a bright future with the company if he chooses this career field.

Jackie is a senior at CHS and a part of the Healthcare Science Career Pathway. As an intern, Jackie spends and average of 15 hours each week working at Dentistry for Kids in Dawsonville. Jackie is learning the necessary skills to be successful in this career. 

Her mentor states, "She is always here on time and is always willing to help with a smile."

Dennis is a senior, second-year Work-Based Learning student, and is dual-enrolled at Lanier Technical College. DJ’s attitude and initiative demonstrate his strong work ethic, which earned him the GeorgiaBEST Credential from Ga. Dept. of Labor. Each job visit and evaluation reflect that he has earned the respect of his supervisors at both, Albaform and Kubota.

 

“We are grateful to have Dennis be part of our WBL Albaform Team. He is such a hard worker, quick learner, always on time, and eager to learn new things. FUN FACT: In just three months Dennis has learned how to operate all 14 robots .”

Eldin Dzebic is a senior; graduating May of 2025 with a career goal of working in the healthcare industry.  He worked at Zaby’s for quite some time and is now employed with Chipotle. 

 

Eldin receives EXCELLENT reviews when making site visits.  He takes academic classes at the college level through the dual enrollment program.

Sienna is a SENIOR with Hall County’s Virtual High School. She works as an administrative assistant with Hasley Recreation.  This is her 2nd year with

Work-Based Learning and has received wonderful evaluations with Home Run Nutrition, the Crazy Daisy and has also started an online boutique.  Her career goal is a successful Real Estate agent.  We know she will succeed in whatever path she takes!

Her supervisor says she can always rely on Maria and she is one of their best employees. After high school Maria plans to pursue a career in the medical field.
